Writer's Corner

 I am easing myself into my next book.  I start with a psychotherapist watching the world and seeing a client in her office.  I also have a Gay Assistant who manages the Office and he makes great coffee.  If I didn't have him,  my psychotherapist character wouldn't be able to manage.  Of course there is a murder and everyone is a suspect.  Who would kill a psychotherapist?  My psychotherapist has her own ex cop now bar tender and owner.  Did he date the murdered Psychotherpist?  Some people knit, some sew; and some cook.  I write books and as I write the thoughts come and the book writes itself.   I am starting slow at one hour a day as I manage the other stuff and balance all.  

At book signings I have always had people come and ask why I don't write about psychotherapy.  It was mainly because I needed a break from it all so now I can, as I sit back and reflect.  I have had so many hungry want to be writers, ask how they can start.  Just write and write and keep on writing.  Don't let the noise get in the way and if you have people in your life discourage you, ask yourself why they are your friends?  Surround yourself with people who are simply put nice.  Feedback is nice and normally people who love me love everything I write so they are perhaps not able to see with a clear vision.  Then there are the haters - the ones who have never written anything and yet, they can criticize galore.  When you write, emerse yourself into your imaginary world and just simply write.   I wish you the best in your journey.  My mother and one of my Mentors were my biggest fans and I miss them both so much.   Death has taken a bit of my soul everytime I have lost someone close, but they continue to live only I cannot see them.  Perhaps that is why there is normally a spooky cat in my books as well as good and evil spirits.  This book will take on a different route or maybe not.   I have to see where it will take me.   I have added a bit of sex for the first time, but not too much.
