If exercise: yoga, weight training, exercise = depression reduction, improves self esteem.
Exercise, relaxation, recreation, spiritual/ religion, nutrition + diet, stress management, time in nature, volunteer in helping others, POSiTIVE social connection, avoiding toxins. Clients may struggle to cook, to interact. Eat healthier, exercise, healthy before style, positive attachments etc…
I should have slides on this topic and if you have questions, please ask. What has become so routine for me is sometimes not for others. However, I still do not wish to repeat myself. I am still reporting info from my last AAMFT Conference. I will probably not be attending any more as I move into transition to retirement. Just to let you know, I have started to write my fifth book. I will be writing about an hour a day as I continue to fit in other things I have to do. I will also be continuing my notes for you, while maintaining a balanced life. This should be fun. In my next book I will be writing about a psychotherapist who finds herself involved in a murder mystery as someone is killing psychotherapists. Now why would anyone do that? This should be fun.
