Writer's Corner
I attended a webinar last night with the Sisters of Crime, Toronto. It was a cozy event with the board wanting to know what it is we would like from our Association. As you know I belong to this group, our American mothership and the Crime Writers of Canada. If you are a writer, I do suggest you join an association. We each gave our spiel of what we would like to see and then we were asked who among us have never been part of the group of writers who write together. I raised my hand as well as another and it was suggested I try it, as it is rewarding. So, I am pondering it. Of course, I should try it at least once. I am not sure if I would find that a distraction. I want to begin writing next week, at lease an hour a day during the week, while I manage everything else. I am best in the morning and the writing groups are in the evening where that is the time I am more into R&R. But, I will try it once and see if it works. This weekend is Valentines and I wish you all lots of love. Love yourself. Have a good weekend world. I couldn't upload one of my book covers, which is too bad. I may have to begin looking elsewhere to write.

I cannot upload any more from my computer or utube
I wanted to post a video from the Tumbler Ridge shootings in British Columbia last night and this morning and can't seem to upload any more. This will have me examine my postings in future. For now I will cut and paste.

Just to bring you up to date, I have finally finished all my accounting for my tax man. I still want to attend some webinars in case I proceed myself in future. Last year I had a certified accountant and it was obvious he had no interest and I don't believe he claimed what he could. Isn't that unfortunate? I should have guessed when he demanded cash for payment when I went to retrieve the file. This gets so tiresome. At lease who I am using now, I trust. Now that I have caught up with this, I want to continue to post, papers in theology, psychology, counselling, and of course Writers Corners. I want to examine in time what platforms I shall be using, bring my resume up to date etc.......I feel like I am on holidays which is pleasant. If you have an opportunity watch the news about this beautiful little town in British Columbia, probably our prettiest province, town of only about 2400. population. The shooter killed about eight people all children and one teacher, their parent and 11 year old step brother, as well as injuring 25 people. The shooter commited suicide. This is so sad. God Bless.

Thoughts of the week good/vs evil Protecting our children
I posted the video on crypto because it seems to be encouraged to invest in which I won't. However, where my thoughts were this week was around children and the need to protect them. I have seen so many adults who suffered at the abuse they received as children which still haunts them and we need to take more responsibility to ensure that we report incidents to the police and we begin to hold media giants responsible for allowing preditors to target youth. Last night on the news a new apperently experimental group called "CON" is targeting children in a horrific way. They are cruel. There are horrific united deplorable cowards out there encouraging children to do terrible things and they need to be hunted down, charged, locked down and locked up. One elementary school in the GTA had to be closed down for a few hours because of targets towards their children. Our children are precious gifts which need to be protected because they are so vulnerable. We all have a responsiblity to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Take a moment of silence and reflection. See you next week. Bye bye world.
